POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist baseball team announced the schedule for the upcoming 2023 season.

The season consists of 52 games, and starts on Friday, Feb. 17 at the University of Southern California.

Marist opens MAAC play from March 31 through April 2 at Quinnipiac.
 

February

• Marist travels to Los Angeles, California to start the season. The Red Foxes play a three-game series against the Trojans of Southern California from Feb. 17 to Feb. 19.
• The Red Foxes play a three-game series against William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. The series starts Feb. 24 and concludes Feb. 26. 

March

• Marist continues on the road in March in Johnson City, Tennessee to play East Tennessee State. The series starts March 3 and concludes March 5.
• A single-game road trip to Bucknell continues the road trip. The game against Bucknell is on March 8.
• A trip to Miami, Florida sets the Red Foxes for a series against Florida International University. The Panthers host Marist from March 10 to March 12.
• A two-game set against the Towson Tigers is slated for March 14 and 15.
• Marist plays Atlantic 10 foes in Davidson and Rhode Island on March 17-19 and March 24-26, respectively.
• A single game played against Army on March 28 will be played at West Point.

 

April

• MAAC play opens at Quinnipiac from March 31 to April 2. Marist swept Quinnipiac in the 2022 season.
• Marist first homestand consists of a single non-conference game against University at Albany and a three-game series against Mount St. Mary's. The games will take place starting April 4 and concluding April 8.
• A road swing against three teams starts April 12 and concludes April 18. Marist takes on Rutgers, Siena, and Hartford. The Red Foxes took two of three from Siena in 2022.
• A single home game against Columbia takes place on April 19.
• Marist takes on two more MAAC opponents in Manhattan and Iona to end April. The Red Foxes travel to Manhattan from April 21 to April 23 and host Iona April 28 to April 30.

 

May

• Marist travels to Niagara Falls, New York to start May and take on MAAC foe Niagara. The series is set for May 5 to May 7.
• The last two series of the season will play in Poughkeepsie. The Red Foxes host two MAAC opponents leading into tournament play. Marist plays Fairfield and Canisius from May 12-14 and May 19-21, respectively.  
• Tournament play begins May 24, and the championship game will play on May 28. The MAAC hosts the championships in Pomona, New York.
