POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist women's tennis is scheduled to play Lafayette and Fordham this weekend. Due to weather, the Red Foxes will play at Lehigh against Lafayette at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 19th and then host Fordham on Sunday, March 20 at 1 p.m.
- The Marist women's tennis team was defeated by Colgate in a non-conference matchup last Saturday.
- Deana Giambo and Jane Bockman secured the victory in the first position in doubles, 6-5.
- The Red Foxes were swept by Colgate in singles.
- Lafayette currently 2-5 overall on the season.
- The Leopard's are coming off a loss against Delaware State on March 6, 7-0.
- Their two wins of the season were against Coppin State University and The College of New Jersey.
- The Rams are currently 7-2 overall.
- Fordham has a four-match win streak; its last four opponents were Drexel, Quinnipiac, Queens, and Siena.
- The Rams defeated Siena College by a score of 7-0.
- The Red Foxes will host their first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match on Saturday, March 26 against Niagara.
- The match is scheduled for noon.
