POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Quinnipiac Bobcats defeated the Marist women's lacrosse team with a final score of 19-7 on Saturday afternoon at Tenney Stadium. 
 

First Half

• Quinnipiac struck first at the 14:20 mark to open the game at 1-0.
• The Bobcats' offense continued with another goal at 12:58 to make it 2-0.
• When the clock reached 9:02, Quinnipiac scored to extend the lead to 3-0.
• Two minutes later, Quinnipiac scored another goal at 7:28 to make it 4-0.
• At 5:40 of the quarter, the Bobcats' extended their lead to 5-0.
• Maddie Schrader scored the first goal for Marist at 4:29 to make it 5-1.
• Quinnipiac responded with a goal at 2:59 to make the score 6-1.
• A free position situation allowed Alex Di Chiara to score and make it 6-2 with 1:07 on the clock.
• Tallying another goal, Quinnipiac scored at :58 seconds to end the first quarter, 7-2.
• At the start of the second quarter, Quinnipiac scored at 13:25 goal to make it 8-2.
• The Bobcats extended the lead to 9-2 with another goal at 6:20.
• With 1:37 on the clock, Quinnipiac scored to make it 10-2.
• Kerri Gutenberger made a strong offensive move at 1:05 to score and make it 10-3.

Second Half

• Quinnipiac scored the first goal of the second half at 12:05 to extend it to 11-3.
• A free position situation at 9:34 allowed Alana Tavares to score and make it 11-4.
• The Bobcats scored at 8:05 to extend the lead to 12-4.
• The clock dialed down to 3:43 and Quinnipiac scored to make it 13-4.
• With a minute left in the third quarter, the Bobcats took a 14-4 lead.
• Quinnipiac scored with :05 seconds left of the third to make it 15-4.
• At the start of the fourth quarter, the Bobcats scored at 13:50 (16-4), then 11:40 to make it 17-4.
• Hannah Spease scored for the Red Foxes to make it 17-5 with 8:48 on the clock.
• At 6:20, Hannah Spease scored again to make it 17-6.
• A free positon situation at 5:30 gave Kerri Gutenberger her second goal of the game and made it 17-7.
• Quinnipiac scored at 2:32 (18-7), then :53 seconds to end the game with a final score of 19-7
