POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Siena Saints defeated the Marist Red Foxes by a final score of 15-11 on Wednesday afternoon. The Marist women's lacrosse team is now 2-8 overall and 0-2 overall in conference play.

• To open the second half, Siena scored at 13:40 (10-6), then at 12:32 to make it 11-6.
• In another free-position situation, Gutenberger scored at 10:28 to cut it to 11-7.
• Melissa Bucher scored the next Red Fox goal at 5:39 to make it 11-8.
• Siena extended the lead to 12-8 with a goal at 4:41.
• With the clock dialing down to :01 seconds of the third quarter, Bucher scored to cut it to 12-9.
• Siena struck first in the fourth quarter at 13:37 to make it 13-9.
• The Saints extended their lead to 14-9 with a goal at 11:27.
• At 9:51, Siena brought it a 15-9 lead.
• Bucher scored her third goal at 6:14 to make it 15-10.
• Gutenberger followed with a goal at 3:55 to cut it to 15-11.
