VESTAL, New York – The Marist women's tennis team secured its first win of the season against Binghamton Saturday Night in a non-conference dual-match.

- In the second position, Bockman defeated Binghamton's Maria Pereira, 6-1, 6-1.
- Giambo won in the first position against Lara Kaplan, 6-0, 6-2.
- In the sixth position Zaphiris took the victory in three sets against Kely Chen, 4-6, 6-2, 6-1.
- Lambert added to the Red Foxes single wins with the win in the fifth position in three sets, 7-5, 1-6, 6-0.
- In the third position Zureick defeated Caterina Casadei in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.

"The girls have worked very hard in practice and I'm so happy for them that their effort was rewarded. The doubles was highly contested and we were able to secure the point as Deana and Jane came back from 2-5 down to secure the win. They also led the way once again in singles, but a special mention to our three freshman, Ellen and Lea who won their first collegiate matches and Andriana, who clinched the match at 6," said Director of Tennis,
