POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist baseball team travels to Hartford, Connecticut on Tuesday, April 12th to play a single game against the UConn Huskies at 6:00 p.m.

• Marist swept the Quinnipiac Bobcats in a three-game series.  

• Friday's game one ended 17-10 in favor of the Red Foxes. 

• After Saturday's game was postponed due to weather, Marist won both games on Sunday. The first game finished 7-3 and game two was won decisively 17-5 in seven innings.  

• Erubiel Candelario and Alex Pansini both earned wins on Sunday. 

• Gene Napolitano stayed hot, going 3-for-4, with two runs and two RBIs in game one.  

• In game two, Robbie Armitage went 5-for-5 with five RBIs and scored four runs.  

• Nathan Lincoln also went 4-for-4 in game two, the best game of his young career this far.  

• Marist is 0-4 against the Huskies all-time, losing the last matchup 10-8 in 2007. 

• UConn has put together an impressive season so far, boasting a 24-7 record. The Huskies are winners of seven of their last eight games. 

• The Huskies' biggest win of the year came against #25 University of Southern California by a score of 7-1.  

• The leader of the UConn offense is Erik Stock, hitting .423 with seven home runs and 26 RBIs.  

• As a team, the Huskies are batting .297 and slugging at .498.  

• As a pitching staff, UConn posts a 3.00 ERA and have struck out 324 batters.  

• Following its matchup against UConn, Marist travels to Buffalo, New York to play three games against MAAC rival Canisius from Thursday, April 14 to Saturday, April 16.
