POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist women's tennis was defeated by the Fairfield Stags in a conference matchup on Monday afternoon by a score of 6-1.
 
The Stags swept the Red Foxes in doubles with a order of finish of three, one and two. Marist collected a win in the singles third position, as Ellen Zurieck won by a score of 6-2, 7-5. Andriana Zaphiris fell in the sixth position in three sets, 5-7, 7-5, 5-10.
