POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist baseball team continues in-conference play this weekend with a three-game series at Canisius. The Red Foxes play Thursday at 2:30 p.m., Friday at 3 p.m., and Saturday at 2:30 p.m.  

• Marist fell on the road to #18 UConn, 15-4.
• Drake Quinn and Hunter Sabbers each pitched one inning of scoreless baseball, striking out a combined three Husky hitters.
• Reece Armitage, Robbie Armitage, and Gavin Noriega each went 2-for-4 on the evening.
• Marist is 16-11 on the season and 6-3 in the MAAC.

• In the all-time series against Canisius, Marist leads 43-34.  

• In last year's MAAC Quarterfinal round, Canisius won the best-of-three series in three games. 

• The Canisius Griffins are 14-14 this season and 6-3 in conference play, coming off a sweep of the Iona Gaels last weekend. 

• Sophomore infielder Max Grant leads the Griffin offense this season, batting .413 with five home runs and 21 RBIs.  

• As a team, Canisius is hitting .278, walking 142 times and striking out 256 times.  

• The Griffin pitching staff lets up an average of 5.93 runs per game.  

• Freshman Peyton Consigli posts an impressive 1.66 ERA so far this season, with 26 strikeouts in 21.2 innings primarily in relief. 

• Following this weekend's series, Marist hosts Hartford for a midweek game on Tuesday, April 19 at 3 p.m.
