NIAGARA UNIVRSITY, New York- The Marist women's Lacrosse team fell to Niagara University by a final score of 16-10 on Wednesday Afternoon.

Summary

Niagara struck first with a goal at 13:58 to open the game at 1-0.
Kerri Gutenberger scored the first Red Fox goal at 12:37 to tie the score at 1-1.
Kelly Trotta continued the Marist momentum with a goal at 11:55 (2-1), then at 10:42 to make it 3-1.
The clock dialed down to 9:26 and Trotta recorded her third goal to extend the Marist lead to 4-1.
Niagara responded with a goal at 1:52 to cut it to 4-2.
Hannah Spease opened the second quarter with a goal at 13:30 to make it 5-2.
The Purple Eagles responded with a goal at 12:54 (5-3), then at 9:06 to make it 5-4.
