LOUDONVILLE, New York - The Marist water polo team won its ninth straight game on Friday, defeating Siena by a final score of 18-9.

With the win, Marist head coach Chris Vidale has earned his 100th career victory, an incredible mark in just his sixth season at the helm.

• Marist came out of the gates strong, leading 4-1 after the first quarter.
• Siena got the scoring going in the second quarter with four goals; however, the Red Foxes brought a 9-5 lead into halftime.
• Marist outscored Siena 5-1 in the third quarter, and 4-3 in the fourth quarter to win 18-9.
• Marina Hyham had eight saves in goal.
• The Red Foxes had a balanced scoring attack, with nine different scorers finding the back of the net. 
• Madeline Schultz and Ella Baumgarten had three goals each. Sawyer Alter, Kaylee Brard, Viktoria Orlova, Myriam Lizotte, and India Alter each scored twice on the evening.

• Marist is now 24-11 (11-2 MAAC) and is riding a nine-game win streak heading into its final two conference matches.
• The Red Foxes close their conference schedule when they take on LIU (11:30 a.m.) and Wagner (4 p.m.) on Saturday.
