BUFFALO, New York – Baseball dropped the third and final game to Canisius on Saturday by a final score of 11-3. 

Canisius 11, Marist 3.

• Canisius got on the board early, plating four runs in the first inning on a double and single.
• In the second inning, Nathan Lincoln got the Red Foxes on the board with a rwo-RBI single, cutting the Canisius lead to 4-2.
• In the bottom of the fifth, the Golden Griffins added four runs on five hits to extend their lead to 9-2.
• A Marco Ali single in the top of the sixth scored Johnny Decker, but the Red Foxes couldn't get anything else going offensively. 
• The Canisius bullpen held Marist scoreless in the final three innings to win the series finale, 11-3.

• Johnny Decker led the Red Foxes with two hits and a run.
• Robbie Armitage, Brian Hart, Nathan Lincoln, and Marco Ali added a hit each for Marist.
• Trevor Backman struck out eight in 3.1 innings of relief.
• Canisius had four players get multiple hits, including three with three hits.
• The Red Foxes left 11 runners on base on the afternoon.
   

• Marist will host Hartford in a midweek matchup on Tuesday, April 19, with first pitch set for 3 p.m.
• The Red Foxes are now 17-13 overall and 7-5 in the MAAC.
