POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Baseball got back on track on Tuesday, notching 13 runs on 17 hits to take down Hartford by a final score of 13-4.

• Gene Napolitano had an RBI single in the bottom of the second to open up the scoring.
• Hartford took the lead in the top of the third, scoring four runs on three hits and an error.
• In the bottom of the fifth, Brian Hart tripled followed by a Gavin Noriega RBI single to tie the game. Shortly after, Niko Amory singled to left field to give the Red Foxes the lead, 5-4.
• In the sixth, the Red Foxes scored seven runs on five hits to take a commanding 12-4 lead. Robbie Armitage hit a three-run home run, Dylan Hoy had an RBI single, and Marco Ali had a two-RBI single in the inning.
• In the bottom of the eighth, Gene Napolitano had an inside-the-park home run to give Marist a 13-4 lead.

• The Red Foxes scored 13 runs on 17 hits.
• Gavin Noriega paced the Red Foxes with three hits and two RBIs.
• Gene Napolitano, Robbie Armitage, Brian Hart, Dylan Hoy, Niko Amory, and Marco Ali each had two hits and combined for 10 RBIs on the afternoon.
• Nick Cantone, Jack Bowery, Brian Yetter, and Zane Kmietek threw a combined 7.2 scoreless innings, striking out 12 Hawks en route to the victory.
   

• Marist has a quick turnaround, traveling to New York City to face off with Ivy League leader Columbia on Wednesday. The game will be carried on ESPN+.
• The Red Foxes are now 18-13 overall and 7-5 in the MAAC.
