POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist baseball team hosts Quinnipiac at McCann Baseball Field this weekend for three games starting Friday, April 8.

• Marist won a three-game series on the road against Siena. The Red Foxes took two of the three games against the Saints.  

• Marist won the first 6-3, lost the second 4-2, and won the final game of the series 10-2.  

• The team is 3-3 in-conference and 13-10 overall.  

• Jack Bowery and Alex Pansini were the winning pitchers for Marist. 

• Gene Napolitano had eight hits across the series.  
   

• Marist is 12-10 against the Bobcats all-time.  

• Last season, the teams split a four-game series on the final weekend of the regular season. 

• The Bobcats are 6-16 this season and 1-2 in MAAC competition. 

• Their toughest matchup came against #9 NC State, by whom Quinnipiac was swept.  

• The Bobcats are hitting .264 as a team and getting on base at a clip of .360.  

• Quinnipiac has hit 14 home runs this year and scored 129 runs.  

• The offense is being led by sophomore Jared Zimbardo, who is batting .356 with five RBIs.  
   

• Following the series against Quinnipiac, Marist plays UConn in Hartford, Connecticut on Tuesday, April 12 at 6 p.m.
