POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – In a Metro Athletic Atlantic Conference matchup against Monmouth, the Marist women's tennis team was defeated, 6-1.

Deana Giambo won in straight sets at number one singles. Jane Bockman and Vanessa Ciano teamed up for a victory at first doubles, but the Hawks prevailed at the two and three positions to take the doubles point.
