CHERRY HILL, New Jersey - The Marist women's rowing team traveled to Cooper River Park on Sunday to race at the Metro Atlantic Championship. The Red Foxes finished in second place with a total of 45 team points.

- In the morning heats, the V4 placed second with a time of 8:13.400. The Fairfield Stags earned first place with a final time of 7:58.511. Drake University captured third coming in at 8:50.595, while Canisius finished fourth at 9:00.
- Our 2V8 began with Marist in lane three and Fairfield in four. It began neck and neck until Marist secured the lead at the halfway point. With 600 meters to go, Marist secured the first place spot with a 7:11.58 time. Fairfield followed trailing four seconds behind at 7:15.125. Canisius finished in third at 7:27 and Drake at 7:42.
- To begin the V8 in heat one, Jacksonville led the way with one boat's length leading ahead of the Red Foxes for the whole race. Jacksonville finished in first place entering a time at 6:48.278. Marist secured the second-place spot at 6:53.371 while Sacred Heart, Robert Morris, and Manhattan placed in order, respectively.

- For the V4 finals, Jacksonville led with open water to finish first at 7:36 while Fairfield took second at 7:42.
- Marist locked in third place with a final time of 7:48 earning seven points for the Red Foxes.
- In the 2V8 finals, Marist opened up with a strong lead as Jacksonville and Fairfield battled for second. Jacksonville took over passing the Red Foxes and Stags.
- The race finished with Jacksonville in first at 7:04.66, Fairfield in second at 7:04.898, and Marist in third at 7:06.143.
- The final race of the day, the V8 Grand Final, in which Jacksonville won over second-place Marist, with a finishing time of 6:41.512, completing the sweep and clinching the MAAC Championship.
- The Red Foxes crossed the finish line in 6:44.212, helping Marist surpass Fairfield and finished as runner-up with 45 points.
