Baseball Falls to CCSU In Final Regular Season Outing

Amory, Noriega Each Drive in Three

NEW BRITAIN, Connecticut – The Marist baseball team fell short by one run against Central Connecticut State University in its final regular season game. The Blue Devils had a strong last two innings to propel themselves over the Red Foxes, 11-10.

  • The Blue Devils collected four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to cut the lead to 10-7.
  • In the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blue Devils hit a single through the right side to score the winning run, which capped off a four-run inning.
