POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist College held its 76
th Commencement Exercises on May 20-21 on the campus green.

For the first time since 2019, the exercises returned to their traditional format of graduate and adult commencement on Friday night, and traditional undergraduate ceremonies on Saturday. It was the first Marist commencement for President Kevin Weinman, who also served as commencement speaker.

From an Athletics standpoint, here are some highlights from the Class of 2022:

- The class has won six MAAC championship teams across five different sports in the last four years, with women's rowing capturing two championships.
- 41 participated on conference championship teams and appeared in NCAA Tournaments.
- 102 have been selected to a conference All-Academic Team.
- Six have been named Academic All-District.
Â
On Friday, 11 student-athletes were recognized at the
Honors Program Medal Ceremony, and four were honored at the
Baccalaureate Ceremony.

Coaches and athletics department staff donned regalia and participated in Saturday's ceremony.
