ALBANY, New York - The Marist volleyball team traveled to the state capitol where they looked to get back in the win column against UAlbany, but unfortunately the Red Foxes fell short, 3-1.
 

Summary

• Marist dropped the first set 25-17 and the second set 25-15.
• Gabrielle Heller and Sasha van der Merwe were able to get off a hot start in set three, and helped the Red Foxes take the third set 25-21.
• UAlbany closed out the match with a 25-18 win in set four.
• The MAAC Player of the Week, van der Merwe finished tonight's match with a total of 12 kills and added a team-high 12 digs. Heller notched a team-high 15 kills.
• Alyssa White had a team-high five blocks.
• McKinley Fox finished with 35 assists.
• The Red Foxes fell to 4-6 on the season.
