NEW BRITAIN, Connecticut - The Marist women's cross country team was once again led by its freshmen and sophomores at Saturday's Ted Owen Invitational.
Freshman Nora White placed eighth overall with a collegiate best time of 18:20. The sophomore trio of Anaiya Bobo (19:32), Kate Murtagh (19:42), and Raven Stanet (19:42) all ran collegiate best times to finish as the Red Foxes two-three-four scorers. Freshman Sierra Fisher (19:49) made her collegiate debut to finish as the fifth scoring runner.Â
The Red Foxes will be back in action with a full squad on Friday, Sept. 30 at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University.
