POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist volleyball team will play its final early-season tournament when the Red Foxes head to the University of Rhode Island for three total matches on Friday and Saturday.

- ·       Boston College (2 p.m.)Â
- ·       The Red Foxes are currently 3-3 on the season after coming off a 3-1 victory against Coppin State in their final match at the Hokie InvitationalÂ
- ·       Junior Sasha van der Merwe leads the team with 66 kills on the season
- ·       McKinley Fox continues to grow her total assists numbers as she currently sits at 194 assists on the seasonÂ
- ·       The Red Foxes and the Sharks will be facing each other for the first in both programs' history.
- ·       LIU is 2-4 on the season.
- Â Â Â Â Â The Sharks have wins this season against NJIT and Alabama State.
- ·       The last matchup between the two squads was back in 2017 where the Red Foxes fell 3-2.
- ·       URI is coming off a 3-0 loss against Air Force on Sept. 3.
-      URI is 1-5 this season, with a win against Siena on Sept. 3.  Â
- ·       Marist and Boston College have met a total of two times with a split record of  win each.
- ·       Marist looks to give Boston College their first loss of the season. The Eagles are currently 7-0 and have dropped just two sets this year.
- Â Â Â Â Â Boston College most recently defeated Hartford 3-0 on Sept. 7.
·       Following the URI Invite Marist will travel to Albany, NY to take on the Great Danes on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m.
