Quinnipiac Comes Back, Tops Marist

Daughtry Grabs Career-High 10 Rebounds

HAMDEN, Connecticut – The Marist men's basketball team fell at Quinnipiac, 72-66, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Tuesday.
 
Summary
  • Marist scored the game's first six points and held Quinnipiac scoreless for the first 2:33.
  • A 7-0 run gave Marist its largest lead of the first half at 34-20 with 5:38 left in the first half.
  • Quinnipiac went on a 10-0 run late in the first half, but a basket in the waning seconds by Rollin Belton enabled Marist to take a 40-36 lead to the locker room.
