Women’s Soccer Faces Mount St. Mary’s at Home Saturday

Red Foxes Hosting Pride Game

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York -  The Red Foxes will host Mount St. Mary's this upcoming Saturday, Oct. 7 at 1 p.m..  This game will be their Pride Game to show support of the LGBTQ+ community.  The women's soccer team is coming off a 4-0 loss to Siena earlier this week.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Red Foxes were defeated 4-0.
  • Maddy Catalanotti had seven saves for the Red Foxes.
  • Siena had the advantage in shots (17-6) and shots on target (11-0).
  • The Red Foxes had six shots total, with three coming from Amanda Caldarelli
  • The two teams combined for 14 fouls in the match.
 
SCOUTING MOUNT
  • The Red Foxes will match up against Mount St. Mary's for the second time in program history.
  • In Mount's inaugural year in the MAAC last season, the two teams finished their match with a 2-2 tie.
  • The Mount is 4-6-2 overall with a 2-2-1 conference record.
  • Mount St. Mary's is coming off a 2-0 win over Niagara.
  • Mount's junior Luisangely Navas leads her team with five points (two goals, one assist).

  • The Red Foxes will travel to Hamden, Connecticut to take on Quinnipiac next Wednesday, Oct. 11.
  • Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
