Marist Starts Road Trip With a Win Over Quinnipiac

HAMDEN, Connecticut - Marist volleyball secured a 3-1 victory over Quinnipiac Saturday afternoon.
 
Recap
  • The Red Foxes set the pace right out of the gate, leading 16-7 at one point. The set eventually ended in favor of the Red Foxes after a kill from Sasha van der Merwe.
  • Throughout a neck and neck second set, the Bobcats pushed the Red Foxes, ultimately taking it 25-22.
  • Though the third set continued the tight pace of the second, the Red Foxes persevered and won the set 25-22 after a Gabriella Heimbauer ace.
  • After going up two sets to one, the Red Foxes were not going to be denied in the fourth, leading the set from start to finish. Eventually winning 25-19.
