Women’s Rowing Ranked Second In MAAC Preseason Poll

Red Foxes Received Two First Place Votes In Coaches’ Poll

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference release the preseason coaches poll for women's rowing. The Marist Red Foxes start the season ranked second and received two first place votes.

The first-place team, Jacksonville University, won last year's MAAC Championship. Subsequently, Marist finished second at the MAAC Championship.

The Red Foxes return First Team All-MAAC rower in Natalia Miklos. Miklos played a key part in the Red Foxes second place finish in 2022. Miklos returns to the Varsity 8 boat for the 2023 season.

Marist also returns Emma Jauch, who received Second Team All-MAAC honors for her performance during the 2022 season. Jauch joins Miklos in the Varsity 8 boat for the season.

The Red Foxes start the season on Saturday, March 25 against the University of Massachusetts.
