Softball’s Comeback Comes Up One Run Short Against Lehigh

Husic & Wilson Homer in 10-9 Loss

TAMPA, Florida – The Marist softball team rallied from a four-run deficit in the late innings but fell 10-9 to Lehigh in its final game of the South Florida Showdown on Sunday.

  • Peyton Pusey led off the game with a walk, stole second, advanced to third on an error, and scored the game's first run on Haley Ahr's sacrifice fly.
  • Josie Charles' RBI single tied the score in the bottom of the first.
  • Hannah Brock drew a leadoff walk in the second and came home on Kaitlyn Husic's two-run homer.
