POUGHKEEPSIE, NY– The Marist women's lacrosse team fell to Temple, 14-10, in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday. This was the second time ever that the two teams met.
 
The Red Foxes now have an overall record of 2-3 going into Saturday's game against Binghamton.

• Temple scored early in the first quarter, but Marist's Olivia Arntsen answered back making the score 1-1.
• A goal by Delaney Hayes, her seventh on the season, made the score 7-2.
• At the buzzer, Kelly Trotta scores for Marist making the score 10-3 going into halftime.
• Two goals scored by Kerri Gutenberger, her 15^th and 16^th on the season, and one by Caitlin McNaboe help Marist cut the deficit, making the score 10-6.  
• After three unanswered Temple goals, Kerri Gutenberger completed the hat trick with 7:24 left in the fourth quarter.  
• Both Delaney Hayes and Kelly Trotta scored late in the fourth quarter, giving them two goals apiece on the day.
• Kerri Gutenberger continued her scoring spree with a fourth goal at the end of the fourth quarter.
• Goalie Miranda Lopes led the matchup with 13 saves
