PISCATAWAY, New Jersey- The Marist baseball team prepares for a one-game matchup against the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers. The Red Foxes travel to Piscataway off a 2-2 homestand against UAlbany and Mount St. Mary's.

 

Last Time Out

• The Red Foxes lost two out of three games against the Mount:
  • 8-7, win
  • 10-8, loss
  • 16-7, loss
• Brian Hart slashed for a .625 batting average against the Mount.
  • Hart also tallied two runs batted in and two doubles.
• Niko Amory hit for a .571 batting average against Mount St. Mary's and recorded three walks.
• Bayram Hot slashed for a .571 batting average against the Mount as well.
  • Hot recorded three runs batted in against Mount St. Mary's.

• The Scarlet Knights come into the one-game matchup at 16-15 overall and 2-4 in the Big 10 Conference.
• Earlier this season, Rutgers defeated MAAC opponent Rider 4-2.
• Most recently, the Scarlet Knights dropped two of three to Maryland:
  • 6-4, loss
  • 4-3, loss
  • 14-8, win
• This will be the first matchup since 1999 for the Red Foxes and Scarlet Knights. In that game, Rutgers defeated the Red Foxes 6-4.
