Baseball Falls To Rutgers In One Game Matchup

Red Foxes Scored Three Runs In The First Two Innings

PISCATAWAY, New Jersey- The hot start from the Marist baseball team at Rutgers fell short in the one-game matchup against the Scarlet Knights. The Red Foxes fell to the Scarlet Knights 8-3, Wednesday night.

 
Summary
  • Dylan Hoy doubled on the first at-bat of the game into centerfield for the Red Foxes. Brian Hart followed Hoy with a single for the Red Foxes in the first inning. Within the first three batters of the game, the Red Foxes took a 1-0 lead via Niko Amory on a sacrifice fly. Bayram Hot added to the Red Foxes lead with an RBI single in the first inning.
    • The Red Foxes led 2-0 in the top of the first inning.
