POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist baseball teams looks to continue its two-game winning streak against two non-conference opponents, April 18 and 19. The Red Foxes play two single-game matchups against University of Hartford and Columbia University.

 

Last Time Out

• The Red Foxes won their first series in the MAAC, defeating Siena two out of three games:
  • Game one: 6-4, loss
  • Game two: 15-6, win
  • Game three: 8-1, win
• Bayram Hot slashed a .500 batting average in the series win. Hot tallied four RBIs and four runs scored in the series.
• Justin Kapuscinski slashed a .467 batting average in the series. Kapuscinski recorded three RBIs and three runs scored.
• Colin Mackle hit his third home run of the season and batted .444 in the series.
• Jack Keenan pitched six scoreless innings in game three of the series, which led to the 8-1 win. Keenan struck out eight batters and allowed three hits.

  

Scouting Hartford

• The Hawks come into the matchup at 2-24 overall on the 2023 season.
• Fairfield swept Harford in a three-game series in the Hawks most recent matchup.
• The Red Foxes hold a 13-10 overall record over the Hawks.
