Baseball Tops Fordham At Home

Hart Hits Team-Leading Ninth Home Run Of The Season

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist baseball team started the four game home stand firing on all cylinders against Fordham University. The Red Foxes defeated the Rams in a commanding 11-2 win, Tuesday afternoon.

 
Summary
  • The Red Foxes scored two runs in the first inning which had them jump out to an early 2-0 lead.
  • Brian Hart hit his team-high ninth home run of the season in the third inning which gave the Red Foxes a 3-0 lead. Later in the third inning, Danny Moshier doubled to right field and brought home Justin Kapuscinski.
  • Fordham scored one run in the fourth inning.
