Marist Defeats Mount St. Mary's In First Matchup Since 2000

Red Foxes Recorded Eight Runs Off Eight Hits in Series Opener

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist baseball won its series opener against Mount St. Mary's, 8-7, on Thursday afternoon. This is the Red Foxes' second win in a row, and they look to extend their win streak in the remaining games of the series.

  • Marist scored two runs with RBIs by Brian Hart and Bayram Hot to start the game.
  • Mount St. Mary's hit a homerun in the third to cut the deficit, 2-1.
