POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist baseball team dropped the second game of the home series against Mount St. Mary's, Friday afternoon. The Mount defeated the Red Foxes 10-8, after Marist tried to complete a comeback.

• The Red Foxes clawed back in the bottom of the seventh. RBI singles from Kapuscinski and Ali cut the deficit, which left the Red Foxes down 10-5.
• In the bottom of the eighth inning, Colin Mackle scored on a wild pitch (10-6).
• The Red Foxes tried to complete a comeback in the bottom of the ninth inning. Colin Mackle ripped a two-run single and shaved into the Mount lead 10-8 with one out.
• The Red Foxes fell short of a comeback, losing 10-8.
