POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist baseball team dropped the rubber match against Mount St. Mary's, Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes fell 16-7 against the Mount, moving to 1-5 in the MAAC Conference.

• In the bottom of the first, the Red Foxes took a 2-0 lead by way of a Brian Hart RBI double and a Bayram Hot sacrifice fly.
• Mount St. Mary's countered the Red Foxes scoring in the second inning, scoring four runs on a single and a three-run home run.
• In the bottom of the third, Bayram Hot doubled which scored Brian Hart and chopped into the Mount lead 6-3.
• The Red Foxes cut the lead to 6-5 in the fourth inning on a wild pitch which scored Dylan Hoy and a sacrifice fly from Bayram Hot.
• Mount St. Mary's extended its lead with a five run sixth inning which put the Red Foxes down 11-5.
• In the seventh inning, both the Red Foxes and Mount St. Mary's scored a run apiece.
