Baseball Walks Off In Series Finale Against Fairfield

Conrad, Hart, Hot Hit Home Runs In Win Over Stags

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist baseball team finished the series against Fairfield with a walk-off win, Sunday afternoon. The Red Foxes scored 10 runs in the second inning and fought from behind in the late stages of the game to win 15-14.

 
Summary
  • In an eventful second inning, Fairfield scored five runs in the top-half on three home runs. In the bottom-half, the Red Foxes put a 10 spot on the scoreboard. Brian Hart started the scoring with his 14th home run of the season. Danny Moshier and Dylan Hoy followed later in the inning with RBI singles. Justin Kapuscinski gave the Red Foxes a 6-5 lead on an RBI single. The second inning hit its peak with an Ethan Conrad grand slam, which gave the Red Foxes a 10-5 lead.
