POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Six Marist programs – men's tennis, softball, women's cross country, women's lacrosse, women's rowing, women's track – earned a perfect score of 1,000 in the latest multi-year Academic Progress Rates (APR), which were announced by the NCAA on Tuesday.
According to the 2021-22 data, the MAAC was led by a trio of institutions which all had six teams earning a perfect mark. The three schools included Marist, Fairfield, and Siena.

The APR, created to provide more of real-time measurement of academic success than graduation success rates offer, is a team-based metric where scholarship student-athletes earn one point each term for remaining eligible and one point for staying in school or graduating. Schools that don't offer scholarships track their recruited student-athletes. The multiyear APR reflects NCAA Division I APR data submitted by schools for the 2018-19 through 2021-22 academic years.
