POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – For the 22
nd year in a row, Marist has led the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in selections to the Academic Honor Roll.

For the 2022-23 school year, the Red Foxes set school and conference records with 354 honorees. It is the fourth straight year Marist has had at least 300 student-athletes honored.

To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Academic Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members in the MAAC. All 24 conference-sponsored sports are represented. The student-athletes honored cover 21 of the Red Foxes' 23 Division I sports, with the exception of football and men's rowing, and includes eSports.

Marist's honorees come from 25 different states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Washington.
The honorees come from 12 countries: United States, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Columbia, England, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden.
