Men’s Soccer Falls In Season Opener Against Hofstra

Bulfon Records 10 Saves Against The Pride

HEMPSTEAD, New York- The Marist men's soccer team fell in the season opener to the Hofstra Pride 1-0, Thursday night. The Red Foxes finished with three shots on goal and an impressive performance by goalkeeper Luca Bulfon.

"Tough result against a very good Hofstra side. We played well at times and could've been deserving of a point" said head coach Matt Viggiano. "There is a lot to build on with new players, but I was proud of the effort tonight.

"I look forward to the home opener Sunday night. The guys will be ready to compete."
