Marist Volleyball Heads to Los Angeles

Red Foxes Set For Four Matches in Four Days

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist volleyball team is off to Los Angeles for four matches, with one being played each day from Thursday through Sunday.
 
About Marist
  • The Red Foxes are 2-4 on the season.
  • Marist is coming a 2-1 weekend at the American Invitational, with victories against University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Central Connecticut State.
  • Multiple Red Foxes rank among the MAAC leaders:
    • Sasha van der Merwe leads the conference in kills (3.86/set) and points (4.30/set).
    • Gabriella Heimbauer is fourth in kills (3.18) and points (3.59). She is seventh in hitting percentage (.229).
    • Clarie Lewis is averaging a MAAC-best 9.61 assists per set and is 10th in aces (0.39).
    • Katherine Thompson is seventh in digs (3.32).
 
Opponents
  • Marist opens with a match against Loyola Marymount on Thursday at 10 p.m. Eastern.
