ANN ARBOR, Michigan- The Marist water polo team concluded its four matches at the Wolverine Invitational. The Red Foxes split the second day of competition as well, going 2-2 at the Invitational.
 

Match One Vs Saint Francis

• The Red Foxes continued their consistent scoring from the last match against Salem.
• The Red Foxes ended the first quarter with a 5-2 lead over Saint Francis.
• The Red Foxes added five more goals in the second quarter, taking a 10-4 lead into the half.
• At the end of three quarters, the Red Foxes led Saint Francis 14-6.
• The Red Foxes defeated Saint Francis 20-7, earning back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
• Two Red Foxes recorded a hat trick in the win:
  • Kendell De Beer
  • Lela McCarroll
• Three Red Foxes scored a pair of goals:
  • Lauren Kwan
  • Ella Baumgarten
  • Alyssa Mullane
• Inés Sánchez recorded eight saves in the win.

  

Match Two Vs 13 Michigan

• The Red Foxes trailed 4-2 against the Wolverines at the end of one frame.
• Going into halftime, the Red Foxes trailed 9-2 against Michigan.
  • The Red Foxes were held scoreless in the second quarter.
• The Red Foxes scored a goal in the third quarter, but trailed at the end of three quarters 14-3.
• The Red Foxes fell to the Wolverines 15-5 in the final match of the Invitational.
• Rachel Dean and Victoria Padilla scored a pair of goals in the match.
• Kaylee Brard scored a goal for the Red Foxes.
