CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts- The Marist water polo competed in the first day of competition at the Bruno Classic, Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes split the first day of matches, defeating Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 16-11 and falling to 15^th ranked Indiana.

 

Match One Vs Claremont

• The Red Foxes defeated Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 16-11 in the first match of the afternoon.
• Nine different Red Foxes tallied a goal in the win.
• Ella Baumgarten scored five goals in the win over Claremont.
• Liana Hunt tallied a hat trick in the win for the Red Foxes.
• The Red Foxes moved to 4-5 on the season.

  

Match Two Vs 15 Indiana

• The Red Foxes fell in the second match of the Classic against Indiana 13-6.
• Kendell De Beer recorded a pair of goals in the match.
• Paige Naegle also scored a pair of goals against the ranked opponent.
• Lela McCarroll scored a goal in the match against Indiana.
• Makaelee Hansberger scored a goal in the match.
• The Red Foxes moved to 4-6 overall on the 2024 season.
