POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Marist women's basketball team aims to return to the win column, as the Red Foxes play host to conference rival Quinnipiac on Thursday evening. Tip-off from McCann Arena is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

- Senior Zaria Shazer recorded a team-high 16 points and eight rebounds, however, it wasn't enough as Marist women's basketball came up short on the road against Manhattan, 60-54, Jan. 25 inside Draddy Gymnasium.
- Jackie Piddock contributed nine points in the loss, while Catie Cunningham added eight points and six rebounds.
- Morgan Lee tallied seven points and tied her career-high of eight rebounds
- Marist has held its opponents below 75 points in 16 of 18 games this season.
- Marist has held its opponents to 70 points or less in 12 games this season.
- The Red Foxes are forcing opponents to shoot 37.8 percent from the floor, which ranks third in the MAAC.
- Through eight MAAC games, Marist is forcing opponents to shoot 35.5 percent from the floor, which ranks second in the conference.
- Marist is forcing opponents to shoot 26.3 percent from beyond the arc, which is tops in the MAAC and 20th in the nation.
- The Red Foxes are forcing opponents to shoot 25.5 percent from three-point range in MAAC games.
- Marist ranks second in the MAAC in total blocks (62) and is second in blocks per game (3.44).
- The Red Foxes are grabbing 26.9 defensive rebounds per game, which leads the MAAC and ranks 83rd in the country.
- Quinnipiac is led by Tricia Fabbri, who boasts 510 career wins in her 29th season with the Bobcats.
- Quinnipiac enters the matchup at 7-11 on the season and 4-5 in the MAAC.
- The Bobcats enter Thursday's contest on a four-game losing streak.
- Quinnipiac came up short in its last time out this past Saturday against Siena at home, 78-60.
- Freshman walk-on Ava Sollenne led the Bobcats with 15 points in the loss.
- Sollenne has emerged as of late. In nine games on the season she's averaging 9.1 points per game, while shooting 49.1 percent from the field and 46.3 percent from beyond the arc.
- Karson Martin leads the Bobcats in scoring at 12.8 points per game, while shooting 45.1 percent from the floor.
- The Red Foxes will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 3, when Marist continues MAAC play at home against in-state foe Siena.
- Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside of McCann Arena.
