NEWARK, New Jersey- The Marist men's cross-country team concluded its meet at the Metropolitan Championships, Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes finished third as a team with 71 points, finishing behind Manhattan and Seton Hall.
The Red Foxes third-place finish marks the second year in a row of finishing third place at the Metropolitan Championships.
The top five Red Foxes finishers finished with a 21 second spread between the one to five spots.
Seven of the top eight finishers were Red Foxes freshmen, who all finished with a sub 27-minute mark and a 31 second spread from the one to eight finishers.
- The Red Foxes compete next at the IC4A Championships.
