Men’s Soccer Set For Senior Night Against Merrimack

The Red Foxes Will Honor Four Players And One Manager In Home Match

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist men's soccer team prepares for a home MAAC match against Merrimack, Saturday evening. The Red Foxes will celebrate four seniors and one team manager for Senior Night, before their match against the Warriors.

The match between the Red Foxes and Warriors is the first match in program history. The match at Tenney Stadium is slated for a 7 p.m. kickoff on ESPN+. The Red Foxes will play three of their last four matches at home to finish the 2024 season.

  • The Red Foxes fell in a midweek conference match against Iona 1-0.
  • Iona's goal came in the 30th minute of the match and maintained the lead the rest of the match.
  • The Red Foxes recorded four shots on goal in the match, equaled to Iona who also tallied four shots on goal.
    • Arion Ulaj led the Red Foxes with two shots on goal in the match.
  • Jamie Lowell recorded three saves in the match against Iona.

  •  Merrimack enters the match at 2-5 in road matches during the 2024 season.
  • The Warriors enter the match on a four-point win streak in MAAC play, defeating Saint Peter's on Oct. 19 2-1 and drawing against Fairfield on Oct. 23 2-2.
  • Four Warriors account for the team-high in goals (2) for the 2024 season.
