LAWRENCEVILLE, New Jersey- The Marist swim and dive team triumphed 178-109 in its MAAC win against Rider, Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes were led by
Anna Hoskovec with a win in the 1000-yard freestyle.
The Red Foxes improve to 2-1 overall on the 2024-25 season, and 2-0 in MAAC meets.
- "Today was a great day on both sides, top to bottom, it was a true team effort."
- The women took momentum early and that confidence carried them throughout the day. We were on the right side of a lot of close races which speaks to their commitment to the small details that are needed to be successful at MAACs. We'll look to keep it rolling with a very deep Fairfield team coming to McCann."
- "I don't know the last time the men were able to leave with a win down at Rider, but it's been a while (2003-04 season). It was a tale of two halves, and we were able to show our depth to outlast a really talented Rider team. We know we need to get started earlier to have chances in close meets on the horizon."
