POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team plays the first of its back-to-back road games on Saturday, when the Red Foxes take on Drake in Des Moines, Iowa. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. Eastern.

ABOUT DRAKE

• The Bulldogs are coming off a bye week, and they won at Presbyterian in overtime by a score of 19-16 in their last outing on Oct. 19.
• Dating back to the 2022 season, Drake has won 15 straight games against PFL opponents. This streak is currently the longest conference winning streak in the FCS, and it is tied for the second-longest streak in PFL history.
• Coming off a PFL championship last season, Drake was picked to finish first in this year's PFL Preseason Poll, and is currently one of two undefeated teams in PFL play (St. Thomas is the other).
• Todd Stepsis is in his sixth season as head coach after having served as the program's defensive coordinator the five previous seasons.

• Marist has won two of the last three meetings.
• The last three meetings, and five of the last six, have been decided by seven points or less.
• Marist is 1-4 at Drake all-time, with the win coming in the Red Foxes' last trip to Des Moines in 2022.

• Marist fell at home to Valparaiso, 17-14, on Oct. 26.

• Marist has scored on its opening drive three times this season, and has scored on one of its first two drives in five games.
• Marist has had two games this season with at least 10 different pass catchers, with a season-high of 13 against St. Thomas. The Red Foxes also had 12 at Bucknell. In all, 16 different Red Foxes have caught a pass this season.
• Marist has had fewer penalties and penalty yards than its opponent in all eight games. Marist's average of 37.0 penalty yards per game ranks 10th in the FCS.
• Marist is tied for third in the FCS with just one fumble lost this season. The Red Foxes have committed just eight turnovers this season, and have two games without committing one.
• Marist is coming off a season high of 136 rushing yards against Valparaiso with three Red Foxes (Carter James, 41; Sonny Mannino, 39; Tristan Shannon, 33) topping 30.
• Marist has run at least 70 plays in a game three times this season, with a high of 75 at Bucknell.
