Football Faces PFL Foe Drake

Red Foxes Take on Bulldogs in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday at 2 p.m. Eastern

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team plays the first of its back-to-back road games on Saturday, when the Red Foxes take on Drake in Des Moines, Iowa. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. Eastern.

ABOUT DRAKE
  • The Bulldogs are coming off a bye week, and they won at Presbyterian in overtime by a score of 19-16 in their last outing on Oct. 19.
  • Dating back to the 2022 season, Drake has won 15 straight games against PFL opponents. This streak is currently the longest conference winning streak in the FCS, and it is tied for the second-longest streak in PFL history.
  • Coming off a PFL championship last season, Drake was picked to finish first in this year's PFL Preseason Poll, and is currently one of two undefeated teams in PFL play (St. Thomas is the other).
  • Todd Stepsis is in his sixth season as head coach after having served as the program's defensive coordinator the five previous seasons.
