HAMDEN, CT - The Marist men's soccer team pulled off a thrilling win in the MAAC quarterfinal match against Quinnipiac 2-1, Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Red Foxes advanced to the MAAC Championships semifinal round for the first time since 2021.

- Arion Ulaj scored the first goal of the match in the 18th minute, giving the Red Foxes an early 1-0 lead. Ulaj's third goal of the season was assisted off a header from Kyle Evans.
- The Red Foxes took a 1-0 lead into the half against Quinnipiac.
- The Red Foxes dominated the first half on the offensive front. The Red Foxes out-shot the Bobcats 10-0, and 5-0 in shots on goal.
- Neither team earned a corner kick in the first half.
- Richard Morel continued his dominant season with a penalty kick goal in the 58th minute of the match. Morel's seventh goal of the season, and first of the playoffs, put the Red Foxes ahead 2-0.
- In the 59th minute of the match, Red Foxes goalkeeper Jamie Lowell made an outstanding save to keep the Bobcats off the board and clean sheet intact.
- A red card assessed in the 62nd minute to the Red Foxes gave Quinnipiac a man advantage for the final 28 minutes of the match.
- Quinnipiac broke the shutout in the 72nd minute of the match, cutting the Red Foxes lead to 2-1 with 18 minutes to play in the match.
- Dreni Idrizi replaced an injured Jamie Lowell and stopped the Bobcats from scoring in the final 13 minutes of the match.
- The Red Foxes held off the final offensive attack of Quinnipiac to earn a 2-1 victory, and advanced to the 2024 MAAC semifinal round.
- The Red Foxes outshot the Bobcats 16-11 in the win.
- The Bobcats out-shot the Red Foxes 7-6 in shots on goal.
- Arion Ulaj scored his third goal of the season in the Red Foxes win.
- Richard Morel scored his team-leading seventh goal of the season in the win.
