NEW ROCHELLE, New York- The Marist men's soccer team is slated for its appearance in the MAAC semifinal round against top-seeded Iona, Thursday afternoon. The Red Foxes comes off a dominating 2-1 win against Quinnipiac in a MAAC quarterfinal match.
The match is slated for 1 p.m. kickoff on ESPN+.
- The Red Foxes won a thrilling quarterfinal match against Quinnipiac, on the road, 2-1 on Nov. 10.
- Arion Ulaj started the scoring in the 18th minute of the match with his third goal of the season, which was assisted by Kyle Evans. The Red Foxes were put ahead early 1-0 against the Bobcats.
- The Red Foxes took a 1-0 lead into the half, dominating the offensive front. The Red Foxes out-shot the Bobcats 10-0 in the first half.
- Richard Morel scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 58th minute of the match on a penalty kick. The goal marked Morel's team-leading seventh goal of the season.
