POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist men's swim and dive team earned another MAAC Weekly Award, Wednesday afternoon.
Kellen Fletcher won MAAC Men's Swimmer of the Week for two dominant meets in the Red Foxes wins against NJIT and Colgate.
Against NJIT,
Kellen Fletcher swam his way to a first-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly. Fletcher finished the race with a time of 1:51.15. Fletcher also placed first in the 100-yard butterfly for the Red Foxes. Fletcher swam his way to the win with a time of 48.85.
In the Red Foxes win against Colgate,
Kellen Fletcher placed first once again in the 200-yard butterfly for the Red Foxes. Fletcher swam to a time of 1:55.74 for a win in the event. Fletcher was also apart of the first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay in the Red Foxes win. The team swam to a first-place finish with a time of 1:34.93.
Fletcher's award marks the fourth overall award for the Marist swim and dive program. On Oct. 16,
James Conable won MAAC Swimmer of the Week. On Oct. 2, the Red Foxes swept the swimming awards as
Caden Hardy won men's Swimmer of the Week and April Avila won women's Swimmer of the Week.
