Women's Hoops Welcomes Yale to McCann Tuesday at 7 PM

Red Foxes Host Bulldogs Tuesday in Poughkeepsie for $5 Ticket Promo

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Marist women's basketball aims to move to 3-0 at home, as the Red Foxes play host to Ivy League foe Yale on Tuesday evening. Tip-off from McCann Arena is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.  
LAST TIME OUT
  • Redshirt junior Lexie Tarul led the Marist women's basketball team in scoring with a career-high 18 points, but it wasn't enough as the Red Foxes were downed by St. John's on the road, 69-49, inside Carnesecca Arena on Thursday evening.
  • Julia Corsentino tallied seven points and seven rebounds off the bench.
  • Morgan Lee notched nine points, five rebounds and three assists.

  • Yale is 1-5 on the season entering Thursday's contest against the Red Foxes.
  • The Bulldogs downed Monmouth, 64-61, at home in its season-opener on Nov. 4.
  • Since then,Yale has lost five consecutive contests, including a 60-50 defeat at the hands of Pacific in its last time out this past Sunday at home.
  • Yale is averaging 52.0 points per game, while holding opponents to 68.0 points per game on 42.8% shooting from the field.
  • Mackenzie Egger leads the Bulldogs with 14.3 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.
HISTORY VS YALE
  • Tuesday's contest against Yale will mark Marist's sixth contest against the Bulldogs.
