HATTIESBURG, Mississippi- The Marist baseball team opens the 2024 season with a three-game series against Southern Mississippi. The Red Foxes begin the season against the College World Series Super Regional finalists on Feb. 16.
Lance Ratchford enters his second season as head coach for the Red Foxes. Ratchford is joined by assistant coaches Mike Coss and
Anthony Spataro. Ratchford is joined by new assistant coaches Ray Sanchez and former Red Foxes catcher

Bayram Hot returns to the Red Foxes for his second season. Hot earned MAAC Preseason Player of the Year for the upcoming season.

Ethan Conrad returns off an impressive 2023 campaign as a rookie. Conrad earned All-MAAC Rookie Team for the 2023 season. Conrad also earned two MAAC Rookie of the Week honors.

- The Golden Eagles finished 46-20 overall on the 2023 season and captured the Sun Belt Championship.
- The Golden Eagles hosted the College World Series Super Regional against Tennessee.

- The Golden Eagles were selected to finish second in the Sun Belt Conference.

- Slade Wilks batted a .289 average, tallying 20 home runs and 58 RBI during the 2023 season.
